Gamuchirai Mutezo is a PhD Candidate (University of Witwatersrand) and Founder of Madam Waste Urban and Energy Planners. Her fields of interest in include entrepreneurship, circular economy, renewable energy (specifically biogas production using anaerobic digestion), and urban energy planning in African cities. She has 10 years’ work experience and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Town & Regional Planning, a Master’s degree in Energy Poverty & Development, and a Project Management Certificate.

Gamuchirai also sits on the South African Biogas Industry Association (SABIA), South African Planning Institute (SAPI) and Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). Anti-Silos and Pro-Collaboration, hence the multidisciplinary interests and experiences.
