Emine Didem Evci Kiraz

Emine Didem Evci Kiraz graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Medicine in 1989. She worked as the individual responsible for International Organizations at the Directorate of Foreign Relations, at the Ministry of Health and as department manager and coordinator at the General Directorate of Basic Health Services. She established the Tourism Health Branch on November 10, 1999. In addition to her duties at the Ministry of Health, she received her Master's Degree from Gazi University and her Doctorate Program from Hacettepe University in the field of Public Health. She studied Ecology and Biodiversity in England with a scholarship from the Ministry of Health. He is one of the experts in the field of "Environmental Health" in Turkey. She is one of the experts in the field of "Environmental Health" in Turkey. She took on the position of National Network Coordinator of the "Healthy Cities Project" initiated by the World Health Organization in 1987. She has been working for the popularization of the concept of "Healthy City" in Turkey for 23 years. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Healthy Cities Association of Turkey. She carried out the projects of the Council of Europe- Health Impact Assessment, TUBITAK-Provincial Innovation Platform, GEKA-Innovation Center. She is still working as the head of department of Interdisciplinary Environmental Health, Aydın Adnan Menderes University, as the manager of the "City Health Promotion Application and Research Center" and "Roma Application and Research Center", and Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health, faculty member. She was the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the same university between the years of 2016-2019. She carries out studies in the fields of "Climate Change and Health Effects" with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, “Migration and Health Services” with the Ministry of Health, “Cumulative Health Impact- Geothermals” with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. She works as a "Health Sector Specialist" in the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Strengthening Climate Change Adaptation Action in Turkey Project. She has been a member of the "Medical Specialization Commission" of the Ministry of Health since 2014. She was invited by the World Health Organization as a Member of the Scientific Committee of the European Healthy Cities Network, Phase VII (2019-2024) on January 21, 2021.
