Zeynep Karamanlı
Trade Manager, British Consulate General in Istanbul
Zeynep Karamanlı received her BSc degree in Environmental Engineering from METU in 2006 and MSc degree in International Development from the University of Manchester in 2010 as a Jean Monnet scholar. Between 2006 and 2018, she worked at Gebze Organized Industrial Zone on multiple disciplines such as environmental compliance of industrial plants, operation and supervision of infrastructure facilities, establishment and maintenance of environment, quality, occupational health and safety management systems, and digital transformation projects. Between April 2018 and June 2021, she coordinated the Global Future Cities Programme in Turkey as the Prosperity Fund Programme Manager at the British Consulate General in Istanbul. She joined international trade team at the British Consulate General in Istanbul as Trade Manager covering smart cities and digital technologies in June 2021.
