Yasin Çağatay Seçkin graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1998, respectively, he obtained his title as a Master Architect from the Istanbul Technical University History of Architecture Program in 2000, and earned his Doctorate degree in Urban Design from Istanbul Technical University in 2004. After submitting his Doctorate degree, he continued his post-doctoral studies on 'Sustainable Landscape Construction' at the Louisiana State University between 2004-2006, focusing his academic research on informatics in design, architectural design, urban design, landscape design and construction, and barrier-free design. Prof. Dr. Seçkin has been conducting lectures in various departments at undergraduate and graduate programs, and carrying out scientific research projects together with graduate and doctoral students, especially on three-dimensional modeling, informatics and drone technologies. Prof. Dr. Seçkin holds duty as the Head of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Parks, Gardens and Green Areas, and continues his activity as an editor and a member of the editorial board in international refereed journals, and project production in the field of architecture, landscape architecture and urban design.
