Sümeyye Gedikoğlu Doğan

Migration and Cohesion Center Coordinator, Union of Municipalities of Turkey

Sümeyye Gedikoğlu Doğan was born in Strasbourg, France. After getting her sociology degree, she settled in Turkey in 2015. She kept following her works on migration in Turkey and got her master's degree in Migration Policies and Practices from Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She started to work in the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB) in 2015 and has been in charge of social issues and vulnerable groups: Women, children, Roma people and more specifically migration. She is currently responsible of the Migration portfolio at TBB and is also the Coordinator of the Migration and Cohesion Center.
