Ömer Faruk Sarı was born in Ankara, on March 16, 1985. He is married with 2 children. Completed undergraduate education at Gazi University, Department of Chemical Engineering, and master's degree at Hacettepe University, Department of Business Administration. He continues his doctorate program at Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Social Policies. After working in different sectors, he started as a Foreign Relations Specialist and EU Funds Chief in Ankara Metropolitan Municipality since 2009 and now carries out the duties of Director of Projects Division. Participated in certificate and training programs in Turkey and abroad in the fields of E-Municipality, Entrepreneurship, Management Accounting and Decision Support Systems, Project Management, Strategic Planning etc. He worked as a coordinator and actively involved in the preparation of projects carried out in cooperation with many institutions and organizations including the European Union, United Nations and Embassies. He took part in international and national meetings / workshops. He carries out projects of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality such as facilitating access to services, vocational training and cooperatives, which it carries out in cooperation with UNHCR, UN Population Fund and FAO for asylum seekers and Turkish citizens. His studies on violence against women, gender equality, children working on the street, foreign trade and development, the hearing impaired, the effects of internet-based social networks on community mental health are published. PCM Trainer for 5 years in various cities in Turkey. He took part in NGO studies in the field of youth and initiatives for youth mobility abroad.
