Lucy Talgieh

Municipal Council Member, Bethlehem Municipality

Lucy Talgieh is a Program Coordinator at Wi’am: Palestinian Transformation Center/Palestine . The organization that promotes education, social justice, and human rights by working within the rural and marginalized communities of Palestine.

Lucy has been working to empower youth, women and extremely marginalized groups in Palestine for the past 20 years. She is one of the founding members, of INSAN FOR HUMAN RIGHTS. Lucy earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, from Bethlehem University in 2003. A Master Degree in Democracy & Human Rights from Birzeit University. 2017 I ve been elected as Municipal Council of Bethlehem.
