İnci Parlaktuna

İnci Parlaktuna received her MA from USA Vanderbilt University, GPED, and her PhD from Anadolu University, Department of Economics. She is an associate professor at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. She teaches Macro Economy. Monetary Theory and Policy and Macro Research courses at the undergraduate level of the Department of Economics, and Master and Doctorate courses at the Social Sciences Institute. Between 2010-2016, she worked as the Director of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Women's Studies Center. She organized two symposiums titled "Women's Studies I" in 2012 and "Women's Studies II" in 2014. She has organized many awareness studies within the body of Women's Studies and attended to many meetings and workshops. She worked as a consultant in two projects that were accepted to the United Nations Women's Human Rights Support Program and the Sabancı Foundation Grant Program. Within the scope of the project, she attended to two workshops and three awareness studies and provided support and consultancy in the writing of two project books. In addition, she carried out two Eskişehir Osmangazi University Scientific Research Projects as a project coordinator. The first project is about the relationship between social capital and youth unemployment, and the second project is about women's cooperatives in rural development. She has written two books in the field of economics, the first is the role of social capital in labor markets and the second is women's empowerment in rural development.
