Fernanda is currently the General Director of Road Safety and Sustainable Urban Mobility, Mobility Ministry of Mexico City's Government.
Fernanda has been in charge of sustainable mobility public policies for the last 9 years, she is currently in charge of road safety and sustainable mobility public policies. She was in charge of coordinating the team responsible for ECOBICI, Mexico City's Bikeshare, during 3 years, she was also responsible for supervising the operation and implementing an expansion of the system, and currently leading the new tender process. As a deputy director of cycling policies she was in charge of Mexico City's Open Street Program, Bikeschools and massive bike parking facilities. She is currently in charge of road safety policies and regulations of sustainable mobility policies, like public parking and platforms. Last but not least, she has been an urban cyclist for the last 10 years and promotes gender equality policies.
