Urban Planning Coordinator, Marmara Municipalities Union

She has been working as Urban Planning Coordinator in Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU). At the same time, she is the director of the MMU Urban Policy Center (UPC) and the editor of Şehir & Toplum magazine, which is a periodical of MMU Culture Publications. She is the Program Coordinator of Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF) which was organized for the first time in 2019. She completed her undergraduate education in City and Regional Planning in the Faculty of Architecture at Izmir Institute of Technology, and then she finished her graduate studies in Urban Design at Istanbul Technical University. She is currently working towards her doctorate degree on Urban and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University. She is continuing her academic research in Turkish Network of Urban Morphology (TNUM). She is interested in areas such as urban morphology, property relations, urban design, local government and participation, urban indicators, and mapping as well as graphic design, painting, and comic book making.
