Erkin Erimez

Erkin Erimez graduated from Boğaziçi University Electronics Engineering Department in 1986. He got MBA and PhD Degrees in Business Administration from same university. He started his career as teaching assistant in 1987 at Boğaziçi University. He joined Borusan Holding in 1990. He worked in Borusan Group for 23 years. He had responsibilities on Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, Investment in Foreign Countries, Strategy, Sustainability, Corporate Governance, Government Relations, Corporate Law, Corporate Secretary in Borusan. He was the Liaison Delegate of Borusan in World Business Counsel for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). He joined work streams in WBCSD and participated workshops and work groups in European Commission and European Environmental Agency. He joined ARGE Consulting in 2013 as partner. His expertise are on: strategy, sustainability, risk management, governance, board processes, impact assessment, integrated thinking and integrated reporting. He serves in various B20 Task Forces since 2015. He lectured in Boğaziçi University Executive MBA in “Fundamentals of Corporate Sustainability Strategy”. He is the board member of UN Global Compact Türkiye Network . He served as board member in Turkish Corporate Governance Association. He is a member of Academic Board of Argüden Governance Academy. He is a member of Integrated Reporting Turkey Network Executive Committee. He participates work-streams in TUSIAD. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt. He owns Corporate Governance Rating License of CMB of Turkey.
